Can Flu Vaccine Cause Nausea

confiscation of political power

According to the famous quotation attributed to Abraham Lincoln " democracy is government of the people by the people and for the people . This maxim imposes two requirements: the government must be organically related to the people on the one hand and must work towards the general interest of the other.

In any capitalist country, there is democracy in its fullest sense. Power is invariably held and transmitted in a particular group. Any part of the population is excluded from the benefit of power devices a privileged class that assumes a monopoly of knowledge, education, and the kind of political and economic leadership.

There is a transfer of sovereignty of the majority to a minority that defends its interests.

In the democratic ideal as perceived by Spinoza, the individual transfer to the company " all the power that belongs to him that it is only to have a command sovereignty." This state is democratic in the sense that everyone concedes his decision not to another individual, or specific group, but to society of which it is a component.

The representative system in its current form, conversely promote the confiscation of power by a class that ensures its reproduction at the same time as the domination of capital over labor. To Noam Chomsky, "Democracy requires an elite class to deal with decisions and make the consent of the general population to policies that are expected to exceed what she is capable of developing and decide for itself .

Universal suffrage is not not the ultimate act of citizenship, but his perfect negation in the ballot box, the voter is handing over political power until the next election. That vote or to abstain, the system claims to have given everyone the opportunity to express its will. Ironically, the vote is not the time of the irruption into politics of the whole society but that of its delivery.

What we call democracy should be appointed strictly speaking, to use the analysis of Alain Badiou, the capitalist-parliamentary system. The capitalist-parliamentary is not an area of conflict between hegemonic movements and movements against hegemonic, but a place that establishes and manages the bourgeois order exists. It is certainly a multiparty system but Uniclass character. The qualification of "democracy" to such a system is a hoax alienating.

Citizens did not in fact the same ability to act effectively in politics, this confirms that the unfair social distribution of the French parliament.

Paid cultural material, the proletariat has no opportunity access to the levers of power. Aristotle was already aware of the interest of keeping the people away from public affairs: " It is also in the interests of a tyrant to keep his people poor, so that it can not protect themselves by weapons, and he's so busy with his daily tasks he has no time for rebellion .

According to a recent study by the Observatory of inequality, and wage earners account for half of the workforce, but only 6% of MPs. In addition, these officials extraction or social worker employed no longer perform their original profession for many years. Conversely, managers and intellectual professions represent 59% of the total. With the professions, they make up three quarters of MPs.

The political dynasties are the most obvious expression of this phenomenon of reproduction of elites. The lines show majestically political vices of the electoral system, the actual skill does not constitute a requirement for election. In practice, the system inducts the most skillful in communication-handling, provided the funds necessary to make. In this game, the heirs, imbued with the culture of power, are entitled to rely on social resources and relay their parents.

There are political dynasties in the United States as in Europe, Africa and Asia, both nationally and locally. This phenomenon is as much about the Bongo of Gabon, India Gandhi, the political mandates that Belgium is bequeathed from father to son. United States, elective aristocracies are legion: Roosevelt, Kennedy, Bush, Clinton ...

The ferment of ambition politician is the alliance between political, economic and financial. There is indeed a close correlation between the financial power and political power, one feeding the other. The institution

parliamentary form of government to ensure the most complete hegemony of the bourgeoisie and deprive people of their purported sovereignty. Karl Marx viewed the state as the official summary of the antagonism of classes, as an instrument of oppression to ensure the domination of one social class over another in a given mode of production. The electoral system is only used to select among members of the ruling class which will act as executive officer positions. In all cases and whatever the election results, it is the bourgeoisie as a class triumph.

We can not reduce democracy to a method and thus confuse means and end. To achieve democracy, we must not only that decisions are taken in agreement with the majority but they are taken for the majority. Democracy can not find fulfillment in a society where men freely associated autodéterminent their goals and actively exercise their sovereignty, without being ripped off by insidious political arrangements.
