Thursday, April 28: The Nonières - Col de Led - Avers
Passage "Col de Minuit" in the foothills of Mont Barral. Before the picnic we will participate in a moment of silence to remember the pass in the history of the exiles. We enter the Trièves another country: The landscape opens out and the Obiou Ecrins peaks looming in the distance. We descend to the forest floor to join the cultures of the first villages, like Saint-Maurice-en Trièves. We reach Avers, hamlet the common Lalley.
Overnight lodging in umbels.

Friday, April 29: Obverse - Mens
We walk by alternating fields and forests typical of the rolling plateau if flatter than that ... We're two blocks away from last Trièves iconic grapes, that fans are dedicated to reviving. We turn then to the hamlet of Perrier in a landscape of farmland that has suffered from the consolidation of the first half of the twentieth century: hedges and trees rustic mesh the landscape, and accompany the hiker. We discover the town of Mens at the last moment, gathered in a fold of land.

Saturday, April 30: Mens
morning spent visiting Mens, chief town of canton to the rich cultural life and its Saturday market, a true secular institution, a meeting point for producers premises. An animation of the Museum or outdoor Trièves complete the half day.
the afternoon we will climb the nearby Chatel (1937 m) strangely reminiscent of Calvin's cap. From its summit, we will discover the plateau Matheysin the Drac valley, Oisans, Grandes Rousses, Vercors and Chartreuse distant. Overnight lodging Atamanta Pre Faucon.

Sunday 1 st May: Mens - La Mure
Imagine the exiled Huguenots, after a warm welcome in Mens, get back on the road heading north, to lands far less hospitable. Drac, crossed the little stone bridge Cognet marked both the limit of Occitan and the entry into territory fiercely Catholic. Cognet is the first village which marks our entry into Matheysine mining country, where workers were also farmers. The train coming down the anthracite to Grenoble is now a renowned tourist train. Separation in La Mure 16h.
